A Deep History of Great Taste
We are an independent, family & friends owned company that is the next chapter in the Pruden Family’s rich history in the Virginia food industry, which dates back over 100 years when P. D. Pruden first began shipping fresh produce by train across the East Coast. Entrepreneurial by nature, four generations of the family have now chosen to make a career in the specialty food business and, along the way, have had the good fortune to be associated with many iconic and pioneering brands.
“Our family is grateful to have played a small part in Virginia’s rich food traditions. Today, our amazing “Team TASTE” stewards the deep history of our legacy businesses while innovating each day to write the next chapter.”
